Trowbridge Executive to Lead Analytics Discussion at ACT-IAC Management of Change Conference

Company Continues Strong Support of Government-Industry Partnerships

McLean, VA — May 25, 2016 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC, a leading federal information systems and solutions provider, was proud to have Senior Vice President for Strategy and Development, Gregg Melanson, serve as a table facilitator at this year’s American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council’s (ACT-IAC) Management of Change (MOC) 2016 conference.

Melanson participated in the Power of Analytics Track on Monday, May 23, 2016. As a table facilitator, he was responsible for leveraging his knowledge and understanding of analytics within the federal government to help guide the discussion. One of the ACT-IAC’s premier events, MOC 2016 occurred from May 22-24, 2016 at the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, Maryland. The theme for this year’s conference is “IT at a Crossroads: Managing Risk through Transformation.”

“My goal was to enable participants to understand how to manage information and generate insights that will modernize government services and benefit the public,” said Melanson. “A better use of analytics within the federal government will lead to better overall government.”

Trowbridge personnel are highly involved in the ACT-IAC. Melanson chairs the organization’s Emerging Technology Community of Interest (ET COI). In that role, he helps guide the ET COI collaboration with Federal CIOs, CTOs, and other executives in monitoring and promoting emerging technologies, sharing lessons learned across the Federal space, and working to provide insight into technologies with attention toward accelerating awareness and adoption. Trowbridge Vice President Carol Miller, who manages the company’s Enterprise Multi-Award Contract Center (EMACC), is an ACT-IAC Fellow and Ambassador Sponsorship Lead. She previously served on the ACT-IAC Executive Committee as a Vice Chair at-Large and has actively supported the organization for over 14 years.
